After ending 2020 with a broken ankle, “Lee” had to move temporarily to personal care where his family frequently brought him homemade cookies. Now, four months later, he’s back in his apartment, living independently, and was able to return the favor by baking his family cookies!
The place is beautiful and clean. The staff is caring and thoughtful. My mom received excellent care in her final days.
What we like the most about The Birches at Newtown community is the friendliness, attentiveness, cleanliness. It's very cheery and welcoming! Staff is very kind! Like that some providers come to facility. Like the barber shop and pharmacy. Our friend is happy there.
Overall The Birches at Newtown mostly works well. When it comes to the activities they have different things like movies, exercise programs, bingo, karaoke, etc.
I am very pleased and comfortable here. People that live here and work here are nice and helpful.
I would definitely recommend to others. I feel that my parents are safe and well cared for. We picked this community because of the location. The location is great, facility is nice, and all staff are kind.
Enjoy being with people at meals. Enjoy reading and outdoor areas.
